The King is Dead…Long live the King!

Hamlet’s father is dead, poisoned by his uncle who has usurped the throne. When the dead King’s ghost appears, commanding his son to revenge his most unnatural murder, Hamlet is set on a course of action that can only end in the destruction of a dynasty.

Hailed as the best piece of literature in the English language, William Shakespeare’s Hamlet is a roller coaster of psychoanalysis into what is real and what is not. Questions over life and death play out like a chess game where King’s are pawns and friends and foes are not as black and white as they seem.

Vision Arts return to the Shakespeare canon after their triumphant productions of Much Ado About Nothing and Romeo & Juliet, as they bring a dystopian Denmark to the stage in a Hamlet for the Tik Tok generation, where the constant eye of Big Brother is watching every movement.
