If you’re aged 13 or above, passionate about the arts, and ready to push yourself to the next level, then this is the programme for you. Whether your goal is drama school, the West End, or a career in TV, theatre, or touring – Path to Pro will get you industry ready.

🌟 What is Path to Pro?

Path to Pro is not your average performing arts class. It’s an intensive training programme that brings together top-tier young talent and professional-level teaching.

Each week, students will take part in a high-energy, triple-threat training block covering:

• 🎤 Singing

  Across the 10 weeks, students will develop advanced vocal technique, focusing on range, control, tone, and stamina. Training will cover solo and ensemble work, with a strong emphasis on musical theatre repertoire and storytelling through song. Students will explore characterisation, vocal placement, breath support, and audition technique, as well as receive guidance on song selection and preparation for drama school or professional auditions. Sessions will be led by experienced vocal coaches and feature guest masterclasses with West End performers, giving students insight into the demands of singing in the industry today.

• 🎭 Acting

  Over the 10-week course, students will train in a range of acting techniques designed to build truthful, connected performances for both stage and screen. Sessions will explore character development, script work, physicality, voice, and improvisation, as well as approaches such as Stanislavski, Meisner, and text-based analysis. Students will work on monologues and duologues, scene study, and audition preparation, with a focus on building confidence, clarity, and versatility. Industry-led masterclasses will offer first-hand insight into professional rehearsal room expectations and the skills needed to succeed in drama school auditions and beyond.

• 💃 Dance

  Throughout the 10-week course, students will engage in high-energy, technically demanding training across a variety of styles including jazz, musical theatre, commercial, lyrical, contemporary, and tap. Sessions will focus on developing strength, flexibility, stamina, and precision, with dedicated time spent on technique, style versatility, pickup speed, and performance quality – all essential for professional auditions and drama school entry.

  In addition to choreography and routine work, students will take part in body conditioning sessions led by a qualified personal trainer, designed to build core strength, injury prevention, and overall physical readiness for the demands of a performance career. Optional evening sessions offer extended choreography and creative development for those looking to push even further. Training is led by experienced dance professionals and guest tutors direct from the industry, giving students a true insight into what it takes to succeed at the highest level.

Training is led by working industry professionals, including guest tutors who are currently performing in West End shows and UK tours. These classes are designed to mirror the expectations of full-time professional training, giving our students a head start on their path to success.

🗓 When & Where

Training takes place each week:
📍 Vision Arts Studios, Haverfordwest
🕓 Thursdays – 4:30pm to 7:30pm
🩰 Then into staging a full musical - 7.30pm - 9.30pm

Dates for Autumn Term 2025:

September - 11th, 18th, 25th

October - 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd

November - 6th, 13th 20th

The Musical performance will be on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st at Boulevard Theatre, Milford Haven.

Please note that some sessions are virtual masterclasses with guest tutors from around the UK and New York!
