Haverfordwest • Vision Arts Wales

Give your child a confident head-start. Path2Pro Jr is our training pathway for committed young performers who love acting, singing and dance, and want to learn the right techniques early, in a supportive, high-energy environment.

Why Path2Pro Jr?

  • Triple-threat training each week: acting, singing, and dance.

  • Small-group coaching for faster, focused progress.

  • Masterclass moments with guest tutors and industry pros.

  • Performance opportunities to build confidence and stagecraft.

  • Clear progression pathway into Path2Pro (13+) when ready.

What we teach

Acting: Text work, character, improvisation, audition craft, confidence on stage.
Singing: Healthy technique, harmonies, musical theatre styles, small-group and solo work.
Dance/Movement: Core technique, musicality, counts, performance quality; styles include jazz, contemporary and MT.

Who it’s for

  • Young people aged 9–12 who love performing and want structured, high-quality training.

  • Students who are ready to focus, practise between sessions, and embrace feedback.

  • No formal experience required—potential and enthusiasm are what matter.

How the term works

  • Sessions run every Wednesday from 4.30pm – 7.00pm.

  • Each week includes a blend of warm-ups, technique blocks, repertoire, and ensemble work.

  • We provide regular check-ins and personal targets so every student understands their progress.

  • Each term concludes with an end-of-term share or showcase (format varies by term).

We keep class sizes limited to ensure every student receives focused, individual attention.

Dates for Spring Term

Safeguarding & wellbeing

Your child’s safety comes first. All leaders are DBS-checked, sessions follow Vision Arts’ Safeguarding Policy, and we foster a culture of kindness, respect and inclusion.

Fees & support

We work hard to keep training accessible. Fees are set each term and communicated in advance. Sibling discounts and a limited number of supported places/bursaries may be available thanks to community partners.
Ask us in confidence if cost is a barrier.

FAQs

Do we need experience?
No. We welcome beginners and rising stars alike. We look for attitude, listening and love of learning.

What if we can’t attend every week?
Consistency is key for progress. If you have known absences, please tell us in advance. But if you know it is going to be more than two then maybe this isn’t the right term to join the course, so you don’t miss too much and make it impossible to catch up.

Is there a uniform?
Comfortable rehearsal wear and appropriate footwear (e.g. jazz shoes/trainers). Hair tied back; no jewellery. We do have a Path2Pro uniform that you can purchase from our supplier if you wish.

Where are sessions held?
At Vision Arts studios, Haverfordwest.

Can my child audition for shows?
Yes—Path2Pro Jr students are often first to hear about opportunities across Vision Arts and partner projects.

Progression to Path2Pro (13+)

Path2Pro Jr is designed to feed into our elite Path2Pro programme at 13+, so students step up with strong technique, confidence and rehearsal etiquette already in place.
