Students explore a range of performance styles, texts and techniques, learning how to bring characters and stories to life on stage.

Throughout the course, students will:

• Devise original performances from a stimulus

• Study and perform scripted work

• Develop rehearsal techniques and characterisation skills

• Analyse live theatre and understand how productions are created

Assessment includes practical performance, coursework and a written examination.

This course builds confidence, communication skills and the ability to think creatively under pressure.
