Students are encouraged to develop their own musical identity whilst building strong technical foundations.

Throughout the course, students will:

• Perform on their chosen instrument or voice

• Compose original music in different styles

• Develop listening and analytical skills

• Explore a wide range of musical genres and influences

Assessment is based on performance, composition coursework and a final listening examination.

This course is ideal for students who are passionate about music and want to develop both their creativity and technical ability.
